It retains original 16th Century Cloisters despite having been converted into a country house following the dissolution of the monasteries. During the 18th Century a further wing was added by the architect of Buckingham Palace and the gardens were redesigned by Capability Brown.
An outstanding venue for an overnight stay, perhaps incorporating lunch, dinner or even a medieval banquet.
